Lance W. Schneider

Lance W Schneider, age 27, of Carlyle passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Lance was preceded in death by his grandparents Wyman and June Sheets and Ervin Schneider.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Kim and Chris Rohde, father Denzel Schneider, grandmother Margaret Schneider, sisters Julie and Chris, Natalie and Cody, Jessica and Wes, nieces and nephews Zachary, Drew, Maddox, and Adele’. And many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lance grew up in Kinmundy and later moved to Carlyle. He was a Boilermaker by trade and traveled with his job. He was a member at Life Church in Carlyle. Lance was a caring and compassionate man who enjoyed a simple lifestyle. He found beauty in nature and all living things. Devoted to his family and friends, Lance was especially close to his mother with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. He loved his sisters deeply and his nieces and nephews were his greatest joy.

Lance will be remembered for his laid back personality and genuine smile. His friendship, kindness, and giving heart will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Life Church Carlyle with Pastor Jason McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow at Carlyle Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 and on Saturday from 9:00 until 10:00 AM all at Life Church Carlyle.

Memorials made in memory of Lance are suggested to his family and will be received at the church or at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
