Elenor E. Langenhorst, 85, of Florissant, MO, formerly of Albers, IL, died Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at Brookview Nursing Center in Maryland Heights, MO. She was born November 18, 1922 in St. Clair County, Shiloh Valley Twp., IL, daughter of Louis C. and Helena Maria (Hellmann) Seibert. She married Joseph B. Langenhorst in Trenton, IL on February 23, 1949 and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2008. She is survived by a son, Joseph E. (Deborah) Langenhorst of St. Charles, MO; two daughters, Julia Ann Frison of Florissant, MO and Jean Marie (Bruce) Bauer of Overland, MO; and two grandchildren, Amy Langenhorst and Matthew Langenhorst. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Seibert and Herbert Seibert and two sisters, Elvera Schomaker and Evelyn Guentensberger. Mrs. Langenhorst was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Florissant, MO. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers, IL with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Albers, IL. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2008 at Hempen Funeral Home in Albers, IL. Memorials may be made to Albers American Legion Post 1026 and will be received at the funeral home.
