Frances C. Langenhorst, 91, of Rural Albers, Ill., died Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at Caring First Nursing Home, Breese, Ill. She was born on July 18, 1913 in Lookingglass Twp., Clinton County, Ill. daughter of John and Mary (Arentsen) Eilermann. She married Edward H. Langenhorst on September 23, 1947 in Albers, Ill. and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1998. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edmund Eilermann & Alphonse Eilermann; three sisters, Pauline Lampe, Tillie Leonard & Eleanor Hagenhoff; brothers-in-law, Ben Lampe, Alphonse Leonard, Edward Hagenhoff, Stanley Bonzcek, & Bill Heimann; sisters-in-law, Emma Heimann, Lorraine Eilermann, & Florence Eilermann. Mrs. Langenhorst is survived by her son, David Langenhorst and his fiancée, Kay Morgan of Germantown, Ill; four grandchildren, Michael Langenhorst and wife Melissa, Michelle Langenhorst and fiancé Rick Weekly, Matthew Langenhorst and wife Ashley & Mark Langenhorst; one future step grandchild, Valerie Morgan; two brothers, Herbert Eilermann of Highland, Ill., & Arnold Eilermann and wife Jeanette of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Estelle Bonzcek of St. Louis, Mo., & Lucille Billhartz and husband Ed of Belleville, Ill.; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Joseph & Eleanor Langenhorst of Florissant, Mo. Mrs. Langenhorst was a homemaker and a devoted farm wife. She was a member of St. Bernard Parish and Altar Society. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 3, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers, Ill. with Msgr. Donald Eichenseer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Albers, Ill. Friends may call on Thursday, June 2, 2005 from 4 p.m. until 9p.m. and on Friday, 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Hempen Funeral Home, Albers, Ill. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Bernard Church and will be received at the funeral home.
