Laura Wilson, age 67, of Centralia, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at Fireside House Nursing Home in Centralia. She was born on July 16, 1951, in Posey, the daughter of Ralph & Laverne Jeannette (Trappe) Wilson.
Ms. Wilson is survived by her son Michael (Lisa) Wilson of GulfPort, MS; three grandchildren: Elizabeth Wilson, Michael Jr. Wilson, and Justin Wilson; three great-grandchildren: Lukas Wilson, Jackson Wilson, and Anthony Wilson; her sisters: Janice Grayling of Carlyle, Yvonne Andrews of Mississippi, and Lynn Yennie of Louisiana; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Floyd Wilson, Gary Wilson, Paul Wilson, Dolores Miller, and Gloria Boyd.
Laura was a hard working woman and loved to read. She moved to GulfPort, MS in 1969 and resided there up until the last couple of years.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 3, 2019, at Posey Cemetery. Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle is serving the Wilson family.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts memorials are suggested to the family and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home.
