Lillian M. Reinhardt, 81, of New Baden, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon. She was born November 14, 1936 in New Memphis, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Wessling) Goldsmith. She married Raymond J. “Bill” Reinhardt on April 21, 1967 in Metropolis and he preceded her in death on October 21, 2001.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Bette Goldsmith of St. Louis and Marlene Goldsmith of New Baden; her niece, Kim (Kurt) Laux of New Baden; two great-nephews, Kyle (Trenna) Laux and Chad (Rhonda) Satterfield; as well as many other nieces and nephews from the Goldsmith and Reinhardt families.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers, Wilson Goldsmith, Edward Goldsmith, Franklin Goldsmith, and Ralph Goldsmith; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph & Josephine Reinhardt.
Mrs. Reinhardt was retired from the Belleville Shoe Factor and was co-developer of West Clinton Estates. She was a member of the Zonta Club of Mascoutah and the New Baden Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden. Burial will follow at Resurrection
Cemetery in New Baden.

Memorials may be made to the New Baden American Legion Auxiliary or to Chakota Therapeutic Riding Center and will be received at the funeral home.
