Taylor Louise Maciejewski, 6, of New Baden, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. She was born May 30, 2001 in Belleville, daughter of Patrick A. and Tina M. (Sheppard) Maciejewski. Taylor is survived by her parents and one brothe,r Brett Dudley Maciejewski of New Baden; her grandparents, David C. and Mary A. Maciejewski, Sr. of New Baden, Bryan and April Sheppard of Mascoutah; her great -grandparents, Shirley Mae Maciejewski of Port Huron, MI, Archie E. Sheppard of San Diego, CA, Beverly Thompson of Sacramento, CA, and Mary Dudley of Vallejo, CA; aunts & uncles, Dedra Sheppard, Jeanette and Deschane Lewis, and Kenny Sheppard all of Mascoutah, David Maciejewski of New Baden, Teresa Maciejewski of Mascoutah, James Maciejewski in the United States Army, stationed in South Korea, and Daniel Maciejewski of Lebanon; she is also survived by great aunts and great uncles. She was preceded in death by her great- grandparents, Arnold C. Maciejewski, Helen and Joseph Jurek and Kenneth Dudley. Taylor was a member of St. George Parish in New Baden and was a 1st grade student at Scott Elementary at Scott Air Force Base. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and will be received at the funeral home.
