Marilyn Martha Ribbing

Marilyn Martha Ribbing, 74, of Breese, died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was born June 27, 1943 in New Baden, daughter of Vincent H. and Marie C. (Venhaus) Ribbing.

She is survived by her siblings, Elvira “Toots” (Jim) Tebbe, Ruth (Vic) Jansen, Janet Willmann, and Dan (Martha) Ribbing; her special friend Glen Feltrop.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, James Ribbing; and a brother-in-law Harry Willmann.

Ms. Ribbing was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Francis Parish in Aviston.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston.

Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
