Mark Nathan Palm, age 58, of Hoffman died on Monday, December 18, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He was born in Breese on November 1, 1959 the son of Victor and Dorene (Wilkey) Palm. He married Kay Kohrmann on July 27, 1996 and she survives in Hoffman.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by his son, Jeff Palm of Irvington; brother, David (Carol) Palm of Carlyle, two sisters: Cynthia Storment of Xenia, and Debra Foster of Centralia; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mark (Cheryl) Kohrmann, Scott (Lisa) Kohrmann; his special nephew Eric Palm and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his brother-in-law, Gregg Foster.
Mark was a truck driver for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and woodworking in his free time.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. In keeping with Mark’s wishes all other services will be private.
In lieu of flowers and other gifts memorials can be made in Mark’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
