Mark G. Taft, age 66, of Centralia died on Sunday, October 6, 2019 in Centralia. He was born on December 11, 1952, in Springfield, IL, the son of Kenneth and Velma (Howell) Taft.
He is survived by his two daughters: Jessica Tolbert of Cottage Hills, and Kendra (Taneah Davis) Taft of Centralia; his sister, Marcia Taft-Harbour; and his brother, Mike Taft; as well as six grandchildren.
Mark never met a stranger and was extremely friendly. He was known for wearing his country western attire and belt buckles bigger than him.
A memorial service will be held a later date.
