Mary A. Swayze
Mary A. Swayze of Breese passed away at the Caring First Nursing Home in Breese at the age of 89 years. Mary was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 11, 1923 the daughter of William and Keren (McCarthy) Moloy. On June 26, 1948 she married Earl Swayze, Jr. in Indianapolis.
Mary is survived by two daughters: Karen Rosen and husband Jeff of Bethesda, Maryland and Kathy Mills of Breese; a son: William and wife Bella Cefalo Swayze of Portsmouth, New Hampshire; a brother: Kenneth Gene Moloy of Indianapolis; four grandchildren: Aaron Hewett, John (Missy) Mills, Tom (Wendy) Mills and Amanda Rosen; and five great grandchildren: Madison M. Mills, Phillip T. Reeves, Melanie K. Mills, Mia E. K. Mills and Maxwell Dougan Hewett.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband on November 21, 2010; two sisters: Helen Applegate and Laura Doty; three brothers: Phillip Moloy, Harold Moloy and John Moloy; and her son-in-law: John C. Mills.
Mrs. Swayze was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston. Mary lived in the Clinton County area for over 15 years and enjoyed the time spent with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Dan Friedman officiating. The interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Shelbyville, Indiana at a later date.
Friends may visit with the Swayze family at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston on Wednesday from 10 to 11:00 AM.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the American Cancer Society, St. Francis Catholic Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
