Michael Dennis Bell, Sr., age 69, of Trenton passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Michael was born in St. Louis, MO on December 15, 1947 the son of Val C. and Florence M. (Oakes) Bell. He married Diana Kendall on March 25, 1982 and she survives in Trenton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Michael D. Bell Jr. and wife Tiffany of Owasso, OK, Derrick Husmann and girlfriend Amy Kuhl of Germantown; his daughter, Amanda Eversman and husband Mike of Shiloh; five grandchildren: Nicole, Kristen, Lauren, and Amy Bell, and Jonathan Husmann; three bonus grandchildren Taylor, Riley and Isabella Kuhl; his in-laws: Linda Hamann and husband William of Caseyville, Phyllis Kendall of Aviston, Faye VonHatton and husband Donald of Trenton, Kathy Lohman and husband Terry of Trenton, Hazel Taylor and husband Steve of Waynesville, MO, Royce Kendall and wife Annette of Sandoval, Richard Kendall of Oakland, CA, Steven Kendall of Florida; a sister, Patricia DeHart of St. Charles, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his mother and father; two sons: Steven Bell and Todd Bell; brothers-in-law James DeHart, David Kendall and wife Michele, and Willy Kendall.
Michael worked for UPS for 33 years, in 2001 he received the UPS Circle of Honor award. He was a member of Teamsters Local 688. Michael was a car enthusiast and member of the 348-409 Chevy Car Club. Above all he loved spending time with his family and his faithful Labrador Retriever Buddy.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston with Chaplin Simonton officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston.
