Michael D. Jones

Michael D. Jones, formerly of Carlyle, died Monday June 29, 2009 at his residence in Peoria, IL at the age of 45 years. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on March 6, 1954 the son of Paul and Francis (Gonzalez) Jones.Michael is survived by his parents; two daughters: Courtney Thoele and Chelsey Jones both of Carlyle, a sister; Stacy Robbins and husband Tony of Carlyle, two brothers; Jeff Jones of Carlyle, Brian Jones and wife Lisa of Huey; two nieces: Stacy Jones, and Brittany Robbins, three nephews; Tim Jones, Chris Robbins, and Jakob Jones. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Michael was preceded in death by a daughter Sarah K. Jones.Mr. Jones loved to play guitar and work on cars. He was employed at Illini Concrete Incorporated in Peoria.Funeral services will be Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle with Pastor Keith Michaels officiating. The interment will follow at Carlyle Cemetery.Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. and also on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.Memorials may be made in Michael’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice and those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle which is serving the family.
