Mickey Carol Curry
Mickey Carol Curry was born September 15, 1963 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado the daughter of James and Ellen (Birchfield) Tritt. They later moved to the Carlyle area where she married Joseph Gregory Curry on March 8, 2003.
Mrs. Curry was a graduate of Carlyle High School. She was employed by Ameren of Illinois. Mickey loved to bowl at Ten Pin Bowling Alley in Carlyle.
Mickey Carol Curry passed away on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at her residence, she was 47 years of age.
Mrs. Curry is survived by her husband as well as a daughter: Miranda Huff of Hawaii, five sons: Gabriel Vela of Colorado, Joshua Vela of Nevada, Cole Curry of Nashville, IL, Cody Curry of Collinsville, and Caleb Curry of Carlyle. Three sisters; Mary Rose Gardener of Missouri, Ruth Mason of Illinois, Rhonda Pollmann of Breese, and sister-in-law Polly Miller of Nashville. Two brothers; Chuck Glasscock of Carlyle, Quentin Glasscock of Carlyle, brother-in-law Andrew Curry of Nashville, IL. Three grandchildren, Austin Huff, Tyler Huff, and Gavin Curry.
In keeping with Mickey’s wishes she was cremated. Friends may visit with the Curry family at the Frerker Funeral Home on Saturday April 9, 2011 from 10am until 1pm. The service will be private.
Memorials may be made in Mrs. Curry’s honor to the St. Louis Regional Chapter of the ALS Association. Those will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle which is serving the family.
