Nancy Kay Mills, 55, of Albers, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born in Troy, MO June 14, 1957, daughter of Peyton W. and Ruth (Erbe) Tannehill. She married Raymond Lee Mills October 8, 1977 in Troy, MO and he survives in Albers. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Ruth Tannehill of Troy, MO; a daughter, Candice Rae (Paul) Martinek of Hawk Point, MO and a son, Gregory Lee Mills of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Levin Steel, Mason Martinek, Samantha Martinek, and Delanie Martinek; a brother, Roger (Debbie) Tannehill of Troy, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harriet and Ronald Jones of Evansville, IN and William and Renee Mills of Union, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Peyton W. Tannehill and a sister, Patty Tannehill. Mrs. Mills was employed by the Belleville Wal-Mart where she was on the ICS team. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden with Rev. Carl Johnston officiating. Burial of Cremains will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:15 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. COMMITTAL MOVED TO FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2013 at 2:15 PM
AT JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY CHAPEL Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 and Thursday, February 21, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. The New Baden American Legion Post 321 will visit the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis, 14436 S.
