Mueller, Florence

Florence H. Mueller, 89, of New Baden, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. She was born February 12, 1918 in New Baden daughter of Herman and Minnie (Determan) Kuhn. She married John V. "Bud" Mueller on May 24, 1941 at St. George Church in New Baden and he survives in New Baden. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Haselhorst and husband Don of Springfield, MO; three grandsons, Darin Haselhorst and wife Denise, Clint Haselhorst and wife Alissa, and Brent Haselhorst and wife Shea: two great-grandchildren, Cole Haselhorst and Kayley Haselhorst; one brother, Ernst Kuhn and wife Wilma of New Baden; one sister, Betty Lee and husband Philip "Mel" of New Baden; two sisters-in-law, Janet Kuhn of New Baden and Jane Kuhn of Florissant, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Cornelius Kuhn, Denis Kuhn and Joseph Kuhn and a sister-in-law, Marie Kuhn. Mrs. Mueller was a homemaker and was retired from New Baden Wilbert Vault, Co. She was a member of St. George Parish and Christian Mothers, the Altar Sodality and the St. George Choir. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2007 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis or St. George Parish and will be received at the funeral home.
