Mueller, Marilyn

Marilyn A. Mueller, 69, of Mascoutah and formerly of Aviston, died Saturday, September 20, 2014 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born May 13, 1945 in Mascoutah, daughter of Lawrence and Esther (Klingelhoefer) Friederich. She married Louis O. Mueller on June 26, 1966 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2003. Mrs. Mueller is survived by her two daughters, Patricia (Jonnie) Hock of Breese, IL and Linda (Tim) Singler of Highland, IL; a son, Dwayne (Kristina) Mueller of Breese, IL; four grandchildren, Abby, Seth, Lucas, and Alex; a sister, Betty (Dan) Santel of New Baden, IL; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ivy Hall of St. Charles, MO, Evelyn & Ben Luebbert of St. Peters, MO, Veronica & Ken Fix of Fenton, MO, Rita & John Boulden of McHenry, IL, Leonard Daiber, and Art & Inez Mueller of Arnold, MO. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Alice Daiber and Isabelle Mueller; and two brothers-in-law, Marcellus Mueller and Larry Hall. Mrs. Mueller was a Deli Clerk at Trenton IGA. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston. Marilyn enjoyed sewing, gardening, planting flowers, and most of all she loved her family and adored spending time with them. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in New Baden. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Hempen-Nordike Funeral Home in Aviston. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and will be received at the funeral home.
