Nathan L. Curry, age 29, of Charleston, Illinois, formerly of Beckemeyer passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was born in Mattoon, Illinois on June 16, 1988 the son of Cherish Crabtree.
He is survived by his mother, Cherish (Cliff) Crabtree of Salem; stepfather, Michael Risley; three children: Sophia, Savannah, and Skylar Curry all of Breese; his brother, Steven (Maria) Curry of Elmhurst, IL; his sister, Crystal Curry of Bridgeton, MO; a niece, Kelsey Curry; his grandmother, Deloris Parrent of New Baden; three uncles: James Davis and life partner Kirk Lamb, John (Jared) Hank, and Jason Davis.
Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lauren Delaney and great grandmother Myrte McCallister.
Mr. Curry was a derby car enthusiast, he enjoyed the challenge of building and running all types of cars. He enjoyed fishing in his free time, but more than anything he loved his children.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle. Interment will follow at Beckemeyer Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of services at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
