Neumann, Linus

Linus W. "Linny" Neumann, 65, of Breese, IL died on Monday, August 15, 2005, at his home. Mr. Neumann was born on March 29, 1940, in Jamestown, IL, son of Willard G. and Lorna (Reichert) Neumann. He married Mary Ann Marmann on March 7, 1964 in Belleville, IL and she survives.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother in Highland, IL; one son, Robby "Rob" Neumann of Breese; two daughters, Maria Meyer and husband Kevin of Breese and Michelle Raymer and husband Rob; four grandchildren, Ryan Meyer, Lacey Meyer, Alex Neumann and Julia Neumann; one brother, Rick Neumann and wife Susan of Centralia, IL and two sisters, Pat Zilles and husband Gary of Highland, IL and Joyce Westphal and husband Jim of Breese, IL.
He was also survived by nephews and nieces. Mr. Neumann was preceded in death by his father. He was a laborer in the construction business. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Funeral Services and burial will be private. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese, IL. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home.
