Norma Jean Craney, 80, of New Baden, died Monday, August 8, 2022 at her home. She was born May 13, 1942 in Mt. Clemens, MI, the daughter of George and Rosalee, nee Vaal, Mueller. She married Richard Lee Craney December 30, 1961 at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and he survives in New Baden.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her two daughters, April (Angela) Guithues, and Shannon (Joseph) Vollmer; and three half-siblings, Ann (Mark) Hauser, Phillip (Sherry) Mueller, and Ellen (Mark) Roberson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, William Vollmer.
Mrs. Craney was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing computer games and bingo.
All Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to Pound Pets, INC. and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
