Regina L. "Gina" (O’Brien) Osborn, 58, of Freeburg, formerly of Aviston, died Monday, March 20, 2006 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born March 21, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of James M. and Nina M. (Bruce) Osborn.
She is survived by three sons, Tom O’Brien II and wife Pam of Trenton, Mike O’Brien and wife Rhonda of Aviston, and Steve O’Brien and fiancée, Paula of Breese; seven grandchildren, Kyle and special friend, Sarah, Nathan, Megan, Emily, Kobey, Kaylee, and Beth; a sister-in-law, Linda Osborn of Lenzburg; and a special friend, Howard Myers of Freeburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Osborn.
She was a file clerk for Senniger, Powers, and Leavitt & Roedel in St. Louis. She was a former member of St. Francis Parish in Aviston and past president of the American Legion Post 1239 Auxiliary in Aviston.
A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006 and from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay For Life and will be received at the funeral home.
