Otto Holle Jr. of Carlyle died Sunday September 21, 2008 at Carlyle Healthcare Center at the age of 71 years. Otto was born in Belleville, IL on August 30, 1937 the son of Dorothy Meyer and Otto Holle Sr.Otto is survived by one daughter: Laurie Nordike and husband Danny of Carlyle; four sons: Dale Holle and wife Debbie of Carlyle, Wayne Holle and wife Tona of Carlyle, Scott Holle and wife Brandy of Carlyle, and Matt Holle and wife Amanda of Effingham; Eleven Grandchildren; Three sisters: Colleen Simpson, Carolyn Keim, and Dorothy Holle; Two brothers: Dennis Holle, and Roger Holle.Otto was preceded in death by his parents: Four sisters: Charlotte Holle, Janette Wagner, Audry Wagner, and Margert Dintelman; One brother: Ralph Holle.Otto was an independent truck driver for over 30 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, Cardinals baseball, and watching John Wayne movies.In keeping with Otto’s wishes cremation services were performed , a memorial service will be held at Frerker Funeral Home on Friday September 26, 2008 at 7 P.M. with Rev. Tom Hoffman officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 4 P.M. until the time of services.Expressions of sympathy may be made in Otto’s memory to the American Diabetes Association and will be received at the Frerker Funeral Home which is serving the family.
