Paeth, Reed

Reed F. Paeth, 79, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Clinton Manor Living Center in New Baden. He was born March 22, 1932 in Temperance, MI, son of Albert and Loretta (Curtis) Paeth. He married Jane E. Hall on June 12, 1954 in Toledo, OH and she survives in Highland. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David R. (Joy) Paeth of O’Fallon and Michael R. (Joan) Paeth of Alton; and a grandson, Evan Paeth of O’Fallon. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Paeth was a Purchasing Agent for General Motors. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Mason’s in Toledo, OH. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden with Rev. Gene Neff officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden. Memorials may be made to the Clinton Manor Activity Fund and will be received at the funeral home.
