Patricia J. Dzengolewski, age 77, of Carlyle passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Carlyle Healthcare Center. Pat was born on October 29, 1937 the daughter of Robert and Marie (Nordike) Shepherd.
Pat is survived by her children: Kim Dietzel of Germantown, Bradley Jargon and wife Sherry of Roxanna, and Mike Jargon of Carlyle; her grandchildren: Jesse Dietzel of Breese, January Loddeke and husband Curt of Germantown, Christopher Luetcke and wife Jamie of Trenton, Misty Bell and husband Alan of Salem, and Sean Jargon of North Carolina; her grandchildren: CJ Jones of Roxanna, Mathew and Andrew Goewey; her great grandchildren: AJ Goeway, Alexandra Hunter, Hayli Rinne, Emily Rinne, Page Loddeke, William Loddeke, Addrienne Dietzel, and AJ Bell; and her ex-husband David Jargon.
Mrs. Dzengolewski was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Marie Shepherd, her step father Irvin “Guiz” Steinmann; an infant brother Charles Shepherd; and her first husband George Lesser.
Pat was a model in her younger years; she was the Clinton County Fair Queen in 1954, Ms. Centralia, and a runner up for Ms. Illinois.
Visitation will be held at Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. A private interment service will follow be held at a later date at the Carlyle Township Cemetery.
Memorials can be left in honor of Pat to the Clinton County Queen Pageant and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home.
