Adrian H. Pille, 88, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. He was born February 18, 1926 in Germantown, son of Edward John and Catherine B. (Boeving) Pille. He married Mary C. Peltes in 1955 in Arkansas and she preceded him in death on March 25, 1999. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Jeanne Wolters of Albers and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Pille; a sister, Ann Pille in infancy; a brother-in-law, Edward Wolters; and two sisters-in-law, D. Marguerite Pille and Patricia Peltes. Mr. Pille was a member of Laborers Local 742 in Mascoutah and the Laborers Local in Granite City. He was a 50 year member of Laborers International Union of North America. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He loved gardening. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden with Rev. Eugene Neff officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 and 9 a.m. until time of service Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hempen Funeral Home in New Baden.
