Ralph W. Bitterberg, 84, of New Baden, died Friday, March 13, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. He was born October 13, 1935 in Breese, the son of William H. and Emma Ida (Rudolph) Bitterberg.
He is survived by his cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ruth Bitterberg.
Ralph was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ in Okawville and the Clinton County Farm Bureau. He worked his entire life on the family farm. He was an extremely particular man, his claim to fame was having the straightest rows in Clinton County. Ralph was a caring and gentle person that liked traveling and attending farm progress shows. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking.
Due to health concerns related to the COVID-19, the public visitation and funeral service have been cancelled. All services will be private.
Memorials may be made to St. Peters United Church of Christ in Okawville or to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
