Randy Alan Williams

Randy Alan Williams, 69, of Charleston, SC and formerly of Carlyle, IL, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. He was born July 16, 1947 in Washington, IN, the son of Ray G. and Mildred L. Williams.
He is survived by his two children, Kye Williams of Dallas, TX, and Natalie (Danny) Pates of Charleston, SC; a grandson, Landon Pates; and his siblings, Susan Erwin, Pat (Ron) Erlinger, Gary (Joyce) Williams, and Jim Williams.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Williams.
Mr. Williams was a civil engineer for Curry & Associates in Nashville, IL; and he was a veteran of the United States Army, having served honorably during the Vietnam War.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Carlyle Township Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A gathering will follow at the Carlyle K of C Hall.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax, Carlyle, IL 62231 who is serving the family.
