Renschen, Patricia

Patricia C. Renschen, 93, of Arlington, VA., formerly of Aviston, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese. She was born October 29, 1919 in Breese Twp, daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Markus) Renschen. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews,great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four sisters, Clara Zurliene, Frances VonBokel, Anna Kuhl, and Sophia Mondt; seven brothers, Frank, Louis, Joseph, John, Alvin, Paul, and Rev. Fred Renschen; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Zurliene, Aloys VonBokel, Henry Baahlmann, Frank Kuhl, Cecilia Renschen, Elizabeth Renschen, Edward Mondt, Joanna Renschen, Marie Renschen, Johanna Renschen, and Pauline Renschen. Ms. Renschen was an Office Manager for the FAA in Washington, D.C. for 40 years. She was a former member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Arlington, VA. She enjoyed traveling. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Cemetery or for Masses and will be received at the church or Hempen Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
