Rich S. Bradford, 58, of Albers, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 23, 1966, in Granite City, IL, the son of Howard and Alice, nee Dickinson, Bradford. He married Joanie Reinhardt September 4, 1993 at St. Bernard Church in Albers and she survives in Albers.

Rich was a devoted family man who understood the value of time spent with loved ones. He cherished every moment he could share with his wife, Joanie Bradford, and his three sons, Bryce (Sarah) Bradford, Jordan (special friend, Sydney) Bradford, and Reese (special friend, Kerstyn) Bradford. His grandchildren, Ezra, Serenity, Lilah, River, and Homer, brought him immense joy, and he delighted in creating memories with them, including a fondness for the company of his two grand-pups, Goose and Maple. He is survived by his siblings: Anna Bradford, Roy (Kathy) Bradford, and Brandie (special friend, Duane) Richardson. He also leaves behind his step-mother, Barbara Bradford; step-father, Joe Taylor; half-siblings, Melissa Wiser, Mindy (special friend, Ben) Wiser, Clyde Wiser, Michael Bradford, Mark Bradford, and Matthew (Nichole) Bradford. His extended family includes his mother-in-law, Pat Reinhardt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Randy & Jan Reinhardt, Susie & Jim Norrenberns, Sharon & Ed Wuebbels, Melissa & Duane Richter, Joe & Jen Reinhardt, and Pam & Tom O'Brien, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces, all of whom will miss him dearly.

Rich was preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law, Dale Reinhardt.

An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Rich found solace and excitement in golfing. He was also an avid fan of St. Louis Blues hockey, a passion he enjoyed sharing with family and friends. Beach vacations were another highlight of his life, where he relished the warmth of the sun and the laughter shared with his loved ones. He lived a life rich in purpose and passion, dedicating many years to his role as a Compliance and Assurance Supervisor for Martin Brower in Lebanon, IL.

A Celebration of Life for Rich will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Governors Run Golf Course located at 3300 Governors Dr, Carlyle, IL 62231. Family and friends are invited to gather and pay tribute to a remarkable man who touched many lives with his kindness and care. Casual dress attire requested.

Memorials may be made in memory of Rich to Chakota Therapeutic Riding Center or to the Ronald McDonald House Charities and will be received at the memorial or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
