Robert A. "Bobby" Harrington, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” A. Harrington, Jr., 69, of Patoka, IL and formerly of Belleville, IL, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, IL. He was born October 26, 1948 in E. St. Louis, IL, the son of Robert A. and Ann, nee Wade, Harrington, Sr. He married Carolyn Weissenborn and she survives in Patoka, IL.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a brother, Michael (Dawn) Harrington of Columbia, IL; his sister, Kathy Craig of New Baden, IL; a brother-in-law, John Weissenborn of Belleville, IL; his uncle & aunt, Ron & Wanda Hooker of Dupo, IL; nieces & nephews, Karla (Ken) Marsh, Brian (Nicole) Weissenborn, Garrett (Jackie) Weissenborn, Jeff (Laurie) Craig, Dale (Dawn Buatte) Craig, Jr., Tom Craig, Kerri Craig Egner, Joe (Melandie) Craig, Derek Harrington, Christopher Harrington, and Chad Henry; his beloved birds Mitzi and Reba; and many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy & Betty Weissenborn; brothers-in-law, Dale Craig, Sr. and Bill Weissenborn; and many beloved aunts and uncles.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Nuplex Resins in Alorton, IL. He was a loving and caring husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Bob will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden, IL.

Friends may call Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of service at Nordike Funeral Home in New Baden, IL.

Memorials may be made to the Centralia Humane Society and will be received at the funeral home.
