Rosalie A Bair

Rosalie A. Bair, 80, of New Baden, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. She was born December 27, 1941 in New Memphis, the daughter of Edward and Caroleen “Dolly”, nee Kehrer, Christ. She married Harold E. “Cubby” Bair May 18, 1960 in New Baden and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2004.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Jeff (Carol) Bair, Kevin (Robin) Bair, and Todd (Dawn) Bair; grandchildren, Victoria (James), Margot (Rob), Zachary, Hallie, Christian, Darcee (Alex), Travis, Kaitlin, Tricia, Kreighton, and Kameron; great-grandchildren, Connor, Dillon, Landon, and Hadley; a sister, Sandy (Leon) Haas; brothers, Rick (Cheryl) Christ and Mike (Regina) Christ; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Christ, Duane & Linda Bair, Oliver & Marie Bair, Donald & Patricia Bair, Bonnie Bair, Dot Bair, Larry & Charlotte Bair, and Loretta Bair.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughters, Suzanne Bair and Angie Bair-Arrington; her grandson, Tony Arrington; a brother, Nelson Christ; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jacqlyn Bair, John Bair, JoAnn & Ed Payne, Gary Bair, and Mike Bair.

Mrs. Bair worked in the bridal registration department at Dillard’s and was a bookkeeper for Hempen Hardware. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Hallmark movies, and she enjoyed watching the entire series of The Nanny!

Visitation for Rosalie will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden with Rev. Gene Neff officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Relay for Life or to the charity of the donor’s choice and will be received at the church or Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
