Rux, Vincent

Vincent H. Rux, 90, of Breese, died Friday, May 26, 2006 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese. He was born October 9, 1915 in Odessa, N. D. son of August and Lydia (Ohm) Rux. He married Agatha "Petie" Peltes on December 30, 1948 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and she survives in Breese. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother-in-law & sisters-in-law, Jack & Pat Peltes of Breese and Georgia Rux of Aurora, Colo.; three nephews, Shane of Breese, George and Bruce of Aurora, Colo. and three nieces, Kay Lou and Jaclyn of Breese and Vickie Ann of Aurora, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Vincent K. Rux and two brothers, Victor Rux and Norman Rux. Mr. Rux was a veteran of the United States Air Force retiring in 1955 as Chief Warrant Officer. He then worked for Schuette Stores for 37 years and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Musicians union #175 in Highland. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese with Rev. Pat Peter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese, IL. Friends may call from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Parish and will be received at the funeral home.
