Stahl, Teresa

Teresa Ann Stahl, 50, of New Baden, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. She was born October 9, 1958 in East St. Louis, IL, daughter of Harold and Patricia (Zayac) Allison and they survive in Cahokia. She married Thomas Barry Stahl on May 21, 1977 in Belleville and he survives in New Baden. In addition to her husband and her parents she is survived by a son, Anthony Thomas Stahl of New Baden; four grandchildren, Dylan Thomas Stahl, Derek Cole Benitz, Emily Elizabeth Adams and Abigail Nicole Adams; three brothers, Harold Steven Allison, Kirk Joseph Allison, and Christopher Harold Allison; one sister, Kellie Marie Miller; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Felix and Jean Stahl of O’Fallon; and a special friend, Pamela Sue Woods of O’Fallon. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alison Nichole Stahl. Mrs. Stahl formerly worked at Fast Stop in New Baden and Casy’s General Store in Trenton. She was a graduate of O’Fallon Township High School class of 1976. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Zion United Church of Christ in New Baden with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
