Terry Kueper of Carlyle died Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 64 years. He was born in Breese, IL, on March 7, 1947 the son of Raymond B. and Lois Jean (Hall) Kueper. He married Denice Lanter and they were later divorced. He then married Jeanne Ruppel in Centralia, Il on September 6, 1991, and she survives.
Terry is survived by his wife: Jeanne; children: Shane Kueper and wife Dawn of Carlyle, Destry Kueper and wife Mindy of Worden. Tiffany Brandt and husband Kevin of Hamel and Kassidy Kueper of Wood River; step children: Michelle Turan and husband Selcuk of Irvine, CAL, Kenneth Ferrari of Silver Spring, MD and Daniel Ferrari and wife Tia of Edwardsville; sisters: Rayma Harris and husband Bob and Jeannette Spaur of Carlyle; and thirteen grandchildren.
Terry served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. He was a retired Registered Land Surveyor and a member of the Illinois Professional Land Surveyors Association. Terry was extremely generous with his time and talents.
A Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Mary Church in Carlyle on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. George Mauck and Rev. Mark Goldman officiating. The interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery with military rites accorded.
Friends may visit with the family at the Frerker Funeral Home in Carlyle on Tuesday from 5 to 8:00 P.M. or on Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:30 AM.
