Timmermann, Clara

Clara M. Timmermann, 66, of Breese, died Thursday, November 13, 2014 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born September 16, 1948 in Breese, daughter of Joseph B. and Clara (Varel) Huelsmann. She married Albert Timmermann on September 4, 1968 at St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose and he survives in Breese. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Clara Huelsmann of Bartelso; a daughter, Susan (Ron) Holthaus of Beckemeyer; a son, Ryan Timmermann of Breese; two grandchildren, Brittney and Cody Holthaus; three brothers, Jerome Huelsmann of Bartelso, Gerald “Red” Huelsmann of Breese, and James (Marlene) Huelsmann of Highland; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Floriann Timmermann, Nick Timmermann, and Annie Timmermann all of St. Rose, Marcel “Lefty” (special friend, Doris Dothager) Timmermann of Breese, and Mary & Vernon Kambrink of O’Fallon. She was preceded in death by her father; father-in-law and mother-in-law, August “Gus” and Anna Timmermann; and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, William Timmermann, John Timmermann, Margaret Timmermann, Stanley Timmermann, August Jr. “Auggie” Timmermann, Matthew “Hammer” Timmermann, and James “Doc” Timmermann. Mrs. Timmermann was a licensed cosmetologist and hair designer at Hair Pizazz in O’Fallon. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 252 in Breese. Clara enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Rev. Patrick Peter officiating. Burial will follow at St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery in Breese. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese. Memorials may be made to St. Dominic Parish or the Breese American Legion Auxiliary Post 252 and will be received at the church or Hempen-Nordike Funeral Home, 150 N. Clinton, Breese, IL 62230.
