Natalie M. Timmermann, 61 of Carlyle, died Friday, June 25, 2010 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born June 6, 1949 in Highland daughter of Anthony A. "Tony" and Viola M. (Zurliene) Brandmeyer. Her mother survives in Damiansville. She married Kenneth V. "Ken" Timmermann on January 8, 2005 in Carlyle and he survives in Carlyle. She was previously married to Kelly Schmitt. In addition to her mother and her husband she is survived by her children, Sarah Schmitt of St. Louis, MO, Jonathan Schmitt of San Francisco, CA, Erin (Chris) Boucher of Murphysboro, and Rebecca Schmitt of Belleville; brothers & sisters, Richard (Lois) Brandmeyer of Aviston, Robert Brandmeyer of Damiansville, Mark (Cindy) Brandmeyer of New Baden, Greg (Barb) Brandmeyer of Damiansville, Teresa White of Greenville, Gloria (Dathan) Santel of Summerfield, Karl Brandmeyer of Mascoutah, and Matthew (Laurie) Brandmeyer of Bartelso; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Anita Brandmeyer of Germantown, John & Kim Hempen of Marydale, Connie & Stan Eagleson of Breese, Donna & Ron Hustedde of Beckemeyer, Dennis & Pam Timmermann of Carlyle, and Randy & Kathy Timmermann of Breese; her mother-in-law, Mary Jane Timmermann of Carlyle; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, Charles Brandmeyer; a sister, Joanne Hempen; a brother-in-law, Patrick Poettker; and her father-in-law, Vic Timmermann. Mrs. Timmermann worked at Jared’s Galleria of Jewelry in Fairview Heights. She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish in Carlyle, was a graduate of Mater Dei High School class of 1967, and was active in Clinton County Relay For Life. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and flowers. Natalie was a very caring person. She was never a stranger, always a friend. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at St. Damian Catholic Church in Damiansville with Msgr. Donald Eichenseer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Damian Cemetery in Damiansville. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010 and from 8 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010 at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clinton County Relay For Life and will be received at the funeral home.
