Timmermann, Veronica

Veronica M. Timmermann, 78, of Aviston formerly of Breese, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was born June 23, 1930 in Breese, daughter of Bernard and Anna (Wessel) Woltering. She married Paul Timmermann September 5, 1955 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Breese and he survives in Aviston. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Kathleen (Steve) Davey of Christopher, IL, Kurt (Lisa) Timmermann of Breese and Kara (Jim) Toennies of Albers; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Woltering of Centralia, Norbert (Grace) Woltering of Florissant, MO and a sister, Joan (Dave) Neff of Germantown; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, James "Jim" & Ruth Timmermann of Carlyle and Kathryn "Toots’ Timmermann of Breese; and special friend, Edna Woltering of Carlyle. Mrs. Timmermann was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Timmermann; two brothers, Alfred Woltering and Charles Woltering; three sisters, Juliana L. Becker, Laura Schuette and Sister Mary Myles, SSND; brothers-in-law, Joseph F. Becker, Francis Schuette, and Robert Timmermann; and a sister-in-law, Rose Woltering. Mrs. Timmermann was a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese for 42 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese. All services will be private. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice and will be received at Hempen Funeral Home in Breese who is in charge of arrangements.
