Timothy "Tim" Schmidt

Timothy “Tim” Schmidt, 63, of New Baden, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO. He was born September 20, 1956 in Laurel, MD, the son of William and Mary, nee Kennedy, Schmidt and they preceded him in death. He married Cheryl Rowley August 20, 2004 in Laurel, MD and she survives in New Baden.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, TJ Schmidt, Ronnie Schmidt, Kenny Schmidt, and Alissa Boerngen; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Schmidt was an employee at Dell Technology. He was a very faithful and involved member of the New Baden United Methodist Church. Tim enjoyed woodworking, making stained glass, golfing, and reading.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. at New Baden United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to New Baden United Methodist Church and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover, New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
