Toby E. Beard

Toby E Beard, born on January 13, 1976, to the late Wynona and Walter Beard Jr., passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab in Greenville, IL.

Toby spent most of his life in Centralia, IL. In recent years, he relocated to Keyesport, IL, where he enjoyed visiting with neighbors and frequented local diners. Toby was well known for his love of country music. 

Toby was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Pamela Vaughn. 

He is survived by two brothers, Tim (Shelly) Meskil, and Boyd (Karla) Meskil, Niece MiRanda (Quinton) Lindahl, sister-in-law Michele (Ronnie) Hook, Brother-in-law Bob (Michelle) Vaughn, Nephews David (Shaina) Meskil, Jacob Meskil, Brandon Meskil, Matthew Stebbins, Nieces Erika Meskil, Lyndsey Meskil, as well as several great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at McKendree Chapel Cemetery in Keyesport. Everyone attending the service is asked to meet at the cemetery before the service time. 

Memorials made in memory of Toby are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 740 Fairfax Street, Carlyle, IL 62231.
