Traw, Ruth

Ruth M. Traw, 73, of Okawville, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at her home. She was born August 24, 1933 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of Morton and Ruth C. (Glenn) Orman. She married Willie C. Traw in St. Louis in 1949 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1987. She is survived by one son, Paul Traw of Troy, IL; two daughters, Jeanne Dahncke of Okawville, and Barbara Garner of Albers; one granddaughter, Katie Dahncke and a great grandson, David Olsen II; two sisters, Anne Orman of Cora and Evelyn Albers of Hannibal, MO. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven C. Traw. Mrs. Traw was a homemaker. There will be no services or visitation. Memorials may be made to the family and will be received at Hempen Funeral Home, 15 East Hanover, New Baden, IL 62265, who is in charge of the arrangements.
