Wilma O. Lange

Wilma Olinda Lange, age 80, of Hoffman, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1937 in rural Hoffman, the daughter of Theodore and Olinda (Reinkensmeyer) Michael. She married Harlen W. Lange on October 29, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2015.

Mrs. Lange is survived by her daughter: Lana (Jason) Peters of Fort Wayne, IN, three sons: Mark (Myra) Lange of St. Peters, MO, Terry (Deb) Lange of Addeville, and Scott (Sarah) Lange of Salem; her grandchildren: Stephanie (fiancé Eddie Mach) Lange and Kyle Lange, Lauren, Mallory, Autumn, Avery, and Nathan Peters; step-grandson: Cody (Sidney) Garden; great grandchildren: Tripp, Grey and Berkleigh Garden; her siblings: Wayne (Nancy) Michael of Hoffman; and MaryAnn (Bill) Leutner of Hoyleton; brothers-in-law: Leroy (Dorothy) Lange of Nashville, Verlin Lange of Centralia, and Melvin (Earlene) Lange of Centralia; sisters-in-law: Joyce Michael of Carlyle and Sheila Holston of Hoffman.

In addition to her parents Wilma was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Leona (Lueking) Lange; father-in-law: Fred Lange; and two
brothers: Robert Michael and Roy Michael.

Wilma was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman and the Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid. She took great pride in being a Homemaker and loved working in the Fabrics department at Walmart for more than 15 years. Wilma loved children and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and neighborhood children.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman with Pastor Stephen Krenz officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Hoffman.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoffman, and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 also at church.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and School Endowment Fund and will be received at church as well as Nordike Funeral Home in Carlyle.
