Wolters, Mary

Mary Ann Wolters, 46, of DuQuoin, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at her home. She was born November 11, 1960 in East St. Louis, and was the daughter of Frank T. and Verneida M. (Essenpreis) Wolters, Jr. She is survived by one brother, Matthew Wolters and wife Denise of New Baden; two sisters, Christine Bauer and husband Charles of Aviston and Vicki Mohr and husband Mark of Pinckneyville; nieces and nephews, Michelle Hagen and husband Adrian, Michael Bauer, Theodore Bauer, Lynne Wolters, Cassandra Wolters, Pam Ritter and husband Andrew and Matt Mohr; great nieces and nephews, Andrew and Nicole Hagen, Brooke, Autumn, Brenden and Justin Ritter; and special friends, James Bledsoe of DuQuoin and Margaret Epplin of Pinckneyville. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Aviston with Rev. Dan Friedman officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Aviston. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Hempen Funeral Home in Aviston. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
