Wolters, Raymond - Hempen Funeral Home - Albers, Aviston, Breese, New Baden, IL - 618-588-3533// Raymond F. Wolters, 77, of Trenton, IL died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at his home. He was born September 25, 1928 in Sugar Creek Township, Clinton County, Illinois, son of Ben and Anna (Rakers) Wolters. He married Gertrude "Trudy" Buehler on August 2, 1952 in Germany and she preceded in death on June 23, 1999. He is survived by a daughter, Sonja Peter and husband Dale of Portland, OR; one brother, Otto Wolters and wife Dorothy of Aviston, IL; two sisters, Henrietta Beckmann of Aviston, IL and Sally Barth of St. Rose, IL; two grandchildren, Kim Sauerwein and husband James and Monica Hyatt and husband Doug , all of Belleville, IL, and two great grandchildren, Maxwell Lutes and Samuel Lutes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Bernard Wolters, Edward Wolters, Victor Wolters and Wilbert Wolters; and three sisters, Mary Ann Becker, Sylvia Becker and Edna Rosen. Mr. Wolters was a retired construction truck driver and member of Teamsters Local 50, Belleville, IL. He then operated Ray’s Carpet and Floor Care, Trenton, Il. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2006 at Kingdom Hall, 3187 Carlyle Avenue, Belleville, IL with Mark Hanft presiding.
