Barbara Ann Wood, 64, of New Baden, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at her home. She was born January 31, 1950 in Springfield, daughter of Harry C. and Elizabeth (Laakso) Wood. She married Mike Marcovich in 1995 and they later divorced. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Matt) Mueller of Lebanon, Jim Griffin of New Baden, Judey (Noble) Springer of Norwood, MN, and Sara Davenport of New Baden; 11 grandchildren, David, James, Justin, Natalie, Charles, Cara, Hannah, Reagan, Hope, Alex, and Lillian; and a great-grandchild, Brylee. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Wood and Harry Wood, Jr. Ms. Wood was a Function Point Analyst in Dearbon, MI. She was a former member of Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church in Ishpeming, MI. and sang in the Ford Motor Co. choir in Dearborn, MI.
